Just after he passed, one of our regular customers told us one of her barn cats had just given birth to a black cat and wanted to know if we’d be interested in adopting him as our new store cat. We agreed (because it’s just not Dark Star without a cat), and after about a month Mr. Eko reported for duty. He’s growing like a weed, but still has all the precocious energy of a kitten.
